Where to Eat Near NYC's Movie Theaters
Pre-movie? Post-movie? Solo? With a group? Here are the best spots for a bite.
Hello, and happy almost-Thanksgiving! If you’re already getting hungry, you’re in luck. This week, the Nothing Bogus community chipped in to help create an extensive list of the best places to eat before or after a movie in New York. My own preference is for the latter. I’m always wanting to follow a great movie with a great meal with great friends at a big table at a cozy restaurant. There are some perfect spots for that here. But there are also quick and easy bites to snag before a movie — or between movies. There’s a wide variety of cuisines. Trendy places and hole-in-the-walls. Basically, this list has a little bit of everything and will be a useful tool for anyone who likes movies and also relies on food for sustenance.
And ideally, this list will continue to grow. You can leave a comment or email me at any point (nothingbogus1@gmail.com) and I’ll update this post. And as always, email your weekly production listings to the email above to be included in next week’s newsletter.

Utopia Diner after Lincoln Center. It is so quintessentially NYC which makes it so easy to eat alone there. Congressman Jerry Nadler was there reading the news in a suit after I saw Megalopolis. - April Goldberg, DP
